The car of a woman who had come to pay obeisance near Khadak Mangoli in Panchkula was washed away in the river.
According to the information, the woman parked the car on the bank of the river and only then the flow of water increased due to which the vehicle was washed away in the river. The woman in the vehicle has been admitted to Sector 6 Hospital in Panchkula.
The local police reached the spot. Efforts are on to remove the vehicle from the river with the help of a crane.
The accident happened due to the overflowing of river water due to rain.
